Life with Epilepsy - Family Members

Collage of volunteers with their young family members

From our years of serving the epilepsy community, we know how the condition has its own unique challenges for individuals living with it, as well as for the parents/guardians who support their children with the condition.  Not only is epilepsy individual, but the journeys that person living with epilepsy and their families experience can differ in many ways.

This is why it also important to share the experience of family members to help raise awareness of epilepsy and to help others supporting a loved one with the condition to know they are not alone. In this section, you can see some of the stories we have shared from family members over the years.

Remember – whether you are living with epilepsy or supporting a loved one with the condition, our services are here for you. If you need any information or support about epilepsy or want to learn more about the services we offer, get in touch with your local Community Resource Officer. You can find their details on the ‘Our Local Services’ section page of our website.
