"My name is Oliver. I am 25 years of age. I am studying to enter a career in law and I'm deciding between whether to be a barrister or solicitor. I have had epilepsy since age 11.
I have temporal lobe epilepsy and I have had focal and tonic-clonic seizures over the years. I suffered various broken bones and sprains over the years with my tonic-clonic seizures.
Thankfully, my seizures are controlled by medication now. What I want the public to know is that people can manage their epilepsy and live full & happy lives but what does limit us is other people's perceptions of our epilepsy so I'd encourage everyone to please learn more about the condition."
