We are delighted to be returning to the Gibson Hotel Dublin for our National Conference this year.
The biggest event in our annual calendar, our National Conference allows people with epilepsy and their families to come together to hear from leading clinicians and researchers about their approaches to treatment and exciting emerging research.
Most importantly, the conference also allows people with epilepsy and their families to meet each other, discuss their individual journeys with the condition and make lasting connections with others from across Ireland.
While the final agenda is still being confirmed, we are pleased to officially open early-bird bookings for this exclusively in-person event. With sessions discussing genomics, the process of selecting new medications and a discussion on whether it is time to have epilepsy added to the Chronic Disease Management Programme and much more– and with esteemed speakers like Professor Gianpiero Cavalleri and Professor Jacqueline French set to attend – our conference is not to be missed!
Tickets cost €40 and include a two-course meal at the Gibson Hotel on the day. To purchase your ticket at the early bird rate, click the button below.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Gibson on September 20th and sharing more about our agenda for the day as speakers are confirmed.
Will the event be livestreamed?
The conference will not be livestreamed on this occasion. However, presentations will be recorded and made available after the conference in the same way as previous conferences have been. Visit the ‘Events & Seminars’ section of our website to watch recordings of previous conferences.
Agenda
We are currently awaiting final confirmation from speakers on their inputs – this will be added in full below when confirmed. Registration for the conference will begin from 9:45am, with the conference set to officially close at 5:00pm. Following positive feedback from last years event, we have allocated 4pm-5pm as a community meet-up – an opportunity to have a cuppa / meet others living with epilepsy and the Epilepsy Ireland team.
If you or your loved one need any information or support about epilepsy, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your local Community Resource Officer. Visit the ‘Our Local Service’ page on our website to find details of your local Community Resource Officer.
