Project Background
Epilepsy Ireland is the national organisation working to empower those affected by epilepsy through support, education, awareness, advocacy, and research. A key strategic priority is investment in technology to strengthen governance, efficiency, and impact. We are migrating from our current Salesforce NPSP and Champ platforms to Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, consolidating multiple systems into one integrated CRM.

The Role
Following a comprehensive RFP process resulting in the selection of our chosen platform and partner, we are seeking a highly organised, collaborative project manager with experience delivering CRM migration projects in a nonprofit setting.
This role will play a pivotal role in project success through:
- Creating and leading the project plan
- Managing project scope, budget and timelines to avoid creep
- Overseeing discovery, migration, integration and testing
- Engage stakeholders across all departments
- Provide regular updates to the Senior Leadership Team and Board
- Support and coach staff through the change process
- Successful staged implementation across fundraising, training and services
Project Governance & Stakeholders
A high level project governance structure and timelines are in place - the successful candidate will drive development to finalise this through a robust project plan.
This is an integrated platform migration project, requiring close collaboration with leaders across the organisation and their operational teams to align strategic objectives with delivery spanning data, processes and platform functionality. Key internal stakeholders include Finance, Services, Training, Fundraising, Membership, and Communications.
You will work with Salesforce migration partner Enclude and their project manager, and EI internal teams to ensure smooth delivery — from discovery through data migration, configuration, testing and go-live. There will be additional support from an experienced external coach from The HX Consultancy throughout this process, who will advise at key milestones as agreed in the project plan.
This role will report directly to the CEO as Project Sponsor, supported day-to-day through the appointed internal project lead. The project manager will engage effectively to regularly update the board and drive delivery through the project steering and working groups.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable experience managing CRM migration or implementation projects (preferably Salesforce)
- Experience managing multi-system data migration projects and ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Experience in overseeing website API & integrations, ideally with Salesforce
- Proven track record in managing project scope, timelines, risk and budgets effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership and governance bodies.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills to support non-technical teams through change.
- Deadline driven problem solver
Desirable Criteria
- Regular presence in the Dublin office is highly desirable
- Experience of similar projects in the nonprofi t sector, ideally health-related or service delivery
- Project management certification (PRINCE2, Agile PM, Scrum Master or other)
- Experience with Salesforce Nonprofi t Cloud
- Familiarity with integrated payment processing
- Experienced with marketing automation & Mail Chimp integration
- Understanding of third party fundraising platforms including Funraisin
- Understanding of business processes & functionality for program enrolment
- Understanding of CRM–fi nance system integrations
- Understanding of impact measurement
- Familiarity with integrated payment processing and marketing automation, ideally including Mail Chimp integrations
- Experience with Funraisin & other third party fundraising platforms
