Thank you to our Dublin Marathon runners!

Epilepsy Ireland would like to say a huge thank you everyone who took on the challenge of the Irish Life Dublin Marathon in support of our work over the October Bank Holiday weekend. 

On what was a dreary Sunday morning there were several bright lights for Epilepsy Ireland running through the streets of Dublin - raising awareness of a condition that affects over 45,000 people in Ireland and helping tor raise funds to help continue our support and information services; training and education programmes; advocacy & awareness campaigns; and investment in epilepsy research. 

We had 14 incredible participants take on (and smash the challenge) of the Dublin Marathon and we would like to say a huge thank you to all of them (and their support teams!) for taking on the ultimate challenge to support our work.

Collectively, our fantastic marathon participants have raised over €36,000 in support of our journey towards a society where no person's life is limited by epilepsy. To add the amount raised so far, you can make a donation on the 'Eventmaster' website via the button below:

We hope our marathon runners are having a well deserved rest this week and would like to thank them once again for their incredible support.
