If you’re a parent of a child with epilepsy living in South Lee & West Cork, we’d like to invite you to an upcoming support group meeting!
Our support groups are a vital resource to many parents of children with epilepsy. The group offers them an opportunity to meet with others who are supporting a child living with the condition; to discuss any challenges they may be facing; concerns they may have; and to hear from & meet with other parents who may have insights on what you may be experiencing.
We often note how epilepsy is a condition that affects the entire family, and these support groups aim to support parents in supporting their child with their journey with epilepsy.
This support group will be hosted by local Community Resource Officer for the South Lee & West Cork region, Niamh Jones, who will be there to offer support and information as part of the support group meeting.

- WHEN: Wednesday 4th October, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
- WHO: Parents of children with epilepsy living in South Lee & West Cork. Parents who wish to attend this support group must have previously engaged with their local Community Resource Officer. It is important that there has been previous engagement for us to best facilitate the experience for all attending the support group. At particular points in your journey of supporting a child with epilepsy; individual, direct support from our team may be more appropriate rather than a group setting.
- WHERE: Cork South location – details will be provided by Niamh when you are approved for registration.
