Stress can unfortunately be part of every facet of modern life. For people living with epilepsy, this can bring about extra challenges.
Stress is often pointed to as a major seizure trigger by many people living with the condition, and therefore, this brings the need to manage stress into focus. It is important that people living with epilepsy broaden their understanding of stress to develop strategies and techniques to help counteract the negative impact that stress can specifically have on their condition.
We are delighted to offer a special event on stress management for adults living with epilepsy. Facilitated by our Community Resource Officers Cliona & Nisha, this session will provide information on how you can self-manage your stress and share information on the tools needed for the effective management of the daily stressors that are part of modern day living.
If you feel you would benefit from this event, see details below on how to register. We look forward to welcoming adults with epilepsy from across Ireland to this online event and should you have any questions about the event, please contact Cliona or Nisha (details below).
Previous engagement with an Epilepsy Ireland Community Resource Officer (CRO) is recommended. If you haven’t had contact previously, we will direct you to your local CRO.
