We are delighted to share the news that our International Epilepsy Day 2026 campaign has been shortlisted for an ICAD Award.
The ICAD Awards are Ireland's premier awards for creative advertising, design, digital, production and communications work. Run by the Institute of Creative Advertising & Design (ICAD), they are widely regarded as among the most prestigious creative industry awards in Ireland.
As many of our members, supporters and volunteers will know, our International Epilepsy Day campaign this year featured a song built around the key words TIME, SAFE, STAY. Designed to stay in people's minds, the song helps audiences remember these important steps if they witness someone experiencing a seizure.
You can listen to the song in full below.
A key objective of the campaign was to reach as wide an audience as possible. To support this, a radio advertisement was created as part of the wider campaign. We are delighted that this element of the campaign has been shortlisted in the Radio Commercials Under 30 Seconds category at the ICAD Awards.
You can listen to the radio advertisement below.
We are thrilled to see the campaign recognised in this way and are hopeful of sharing even more good news when the winners are announced on September 10th.
We would also like to congratulate and thank our creative partners, Laudhaus and Connelly Partners, for their outstanding work and for being recognised with this industry award shortlist. We would also like to thank Jazz Pharma for their support of the campaign for this year, helping us to secure longer advertising placements and increase the reach of the campaign.
Regardless of the outcome, being shortlisted demonstrates the impact this campaign has made. It shows that our efforts to raise awareness of epilepsy have not only resonated with the public but have also been recognised by professionals within Ireland's creative and advertising industries.
Campaigns such as this would not be possible without the continued support of our members, supporters, volunteers and the wider public. If you would like to help us continue educating people about epilepsy and seizure first aid, please consider making a donation using the button below.
