Researchers at the European Medicine’s Agency Cross-Border Access to Paediatric Clinical Trials Working Group have recently launched a new survey seeking to learn more about access to cross-border clinical trials within Europe.

As part of their ongoing work, researchers have discovered that patients are sometimes barred from being included clinical trials due to the fact that they do not speak the official language of the country where the trial is being performed.

The survey launched by the working group is seeking to learn more about how access to clinical trials is managed in terms of language criteria; and to learn more about the general experiences of those who may be interested in taking part in clinical trials.

We know that access to clinical trials is of interest to many parents/guardians of children with epilepsy in Ireland, and we believe that there are many caregivers who could provide unique perspectives on this as part of this ongoing research.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and if you would like to assist this research, you can complete the survey by clicking the button below. The survey will close on December 30th.
