Further to our recent notice on the supply on of Epanutin (you can see our original notice by visiting the 'News' section of our website), we have received a response from the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) regarding this shortage. You can see this reply below:
The company has not informed us of any changes to the resupply date of Epanutin 50 mg Hard Capsules. The shortage is due to a manufacturing delay affecting multiple countries.
We have also recently been notified of shortages of Epanutin 100mg Capsules and Epanutin 300mg Capsules due to the same manufacturing issue. Resupply of the products is also expected in mid-March 2023. The shortages will be published to our website later today.
The company has informed us that it has sufficient stock of the 25mg product to accommodate an increase in demand due to the above shortages
We will continue to keep in touch with the HPRA regarding this shortage and should any further information become available, we will add this to our website.
