Employment Rights Information Session 13.3.23

People shaking hands at job interview.
13 Mar 2023

While public perceptions are improving, unfortunately misconceptions can still exist when it comes to epilepsy in the workplace.

Through our local service, we are aware of how people with epilepsy have faced discrimination in employment due to their condition.

Because of these experiences, it is important that people living with the condition are fully aware of their employment rights.

This session will see practising barrister Lorraine Lally – who is also a person living with epilepsy – provide an overview of employment rights and a review of relevant cases related to employment.

If you have any further questions on this event, please contact our Community Resource Officer, Catherine Caffrey by emailing ccaffrey@epilepsy.ie.

We look forward to welcoming attendees on the night for what promises to be an informative session for all those in attendance.
