Epilepsy Ireland media volunteer - and final year psychology student at University College Cork(UCC) - Lia Hipwell, needs your help with her ongoing research.
Inspired by her lived experience of epilepsy, Lia’s research aims to better understand how seizure patterns and social support may influence key areas of wellbeing such as stress, sleep, emotional balance, self-efficacy, and quality of life.
Lia is seeking feedback from adults with epilepsy living with epilepsy in Ireland. To take part, participants will complete a short online survey that takes approximately 10 minutes. The survey includes questions about your epilepsy, your experience of social support, and about your wellbeing.
All responses are anonymous, and you may withdraw at any point before submitting your answers. Your contribution can help highlight how different factors affect every day wellbeing for people with epilepsy. The results may inform future support services, awareness campaigns, and clinical care approaches.
