The AIB Community Fund is now open for nominations – and we would appreciate two minutes of your time to nominate us to potentially benefit from the fund.

The fund allows members of the public to nominate charities making a difference in their communities. With your simple nomination, Epilepsy Ireland could receive up to €20,000 in funding — plus the opportunity to seek an additional €10,000 award in 2026. To support our work and make a nomination for us to potentially benefit from this fund, click the button below to be taken to the nomination page on the AIB website.

Nominate Epilepsy Ireland

Below is the information you will need to complete the nomination. You can copy and paste this into the form:

  • Charity name: Epilepsy Ireland
  • Charity Registration Number (RCN): 20010553
  • Charity location: Greater Dublin/ Connacht / Munster / Ulster ROI / Leinster (As we are a national organisation, select your local region)
  • Social Theme: Education and Opportunities
  • Write one sentence on why they should receive funding:
I believe Epilepsy Ireland should receive funding because of their vital support services in communities across Ireland; their awareness and advocacy campaigns; and their investment in Irish epilepsy research – all of which combines to help improve the lives of the 45,000 people who live with epilepsy in Ireland today.

Nominations for this fund will close on the 19th June 2026 and we would like to thank you in advance for your support. Please share your positive experiences of Epilepsy Ireland with others and encourage them to also make a nomination in support of Epilepsy Ireland. Every nomination matters and any support you can give us would be greatly appreciated.

At Epilepsy Ireland, we work every day to support the 45,000 people living with epilepsy across Ireland, along with their families and communities. Your nomination would help us continue delivering:

  • Community Support Services
Our nationwide Community Resource Officers provide direct support, information and advocacy for individuals and families living with epilepsy.
  • Education & Awareness
We deliver epilepsy awareness training, seizure first aid education and public awareness campaigns to help reduce stigma and improve understanding of epilepsy.
  • Advocacy & Research
We campaign for better epilepsy services and support research that improves the lives of people living with epilepsy in Ireland.

As always, should you or a loved one require any information or support about epilepsy, please do not hesitate to get in contact with your local Community Resource Officer. You can find their details by visiting the ‘Our Local Services’ section of our website. You can also find more ways to support our work by visiting the ‘Fundraising’ section of our website.
