Epilepsy Ireland are aware that there are currently supply issues being experienced with the Anti-Seizure medication Rivotril.
It is understood that a manufacturing issue is currently disrupting the supply of the medication, creating a shortage for some people on the drug. This issue is expected to be resolved by the end of the month as per information provided by the Health Products Regulatory Authority.
We are in contact with the HPRA on this seeking any further information that could be provided to those affected by the current shortage. We have also contacted the wholesaler for the medication to seek any further information they may be able to provide.
