An Epilepsy Ireland supported study is seeking feedback from women with epilepsy as they continue their important research.

EpiKNOW is currently investigating the health information and resource needs of women with epilepsy in Ireland, from preconception to postpartum.

A crucial part of this research is understanding what is currently provided and where women with epilepsy feel there are gaps in the information/resources that they are provided with throughout this period of their lives.

To better understand this key question, researchers want to virtually interview women from across Ireland who:

  • Are over 18.
  • Are diagnosed with epilepsy.
  • Have lived or currently live in Ireland.
  • Have had children, are pregnant or planning to have children

It is estimated that the interview will take at least one hour.

At Epilepsy Ireland, we believe this study has the potential to make a huge impact on the future care of women with epilepsy in Ireland, who are planning pregnancies in the future.  Please consider sharing your input and experience with the researchers as this is a crucial aspect of the research.
