In memory of their late colleague Louise Young, our corporate partners in Procurement Leaders will this weekend take part in the inaugural #LousRelay.
Louise Young was a young Wexford woman who sadly passed away at the beginning of this year. She was a person with epilepsy and a dedicated media & fundraising volunteer for Epilepsy Ireland.
Since her untimely passing, there has been an outpouring of support for Epilepsy Ireland in terms of raising funds and awareness of epilepsy in Louise’s name.
#LousRelay is a continuation of these efforts and over the weekend, the Procurement Leaders team will be virtually walking the 276 miles from London to Wexford in an effort to raise funds for Epilepsy Ireland and to raise awareness of epilepsy.
This event is set to become a fixture of the Procurement Leaders calendar yearly in an effort to continue Louise’s legacy in support of Epilepsy Ireland.
We would like to wish all the team at Procurement Leaders the best of luck with their virtual walk and run – we look forward to seeing the pics and have no doubt that you will all smash the target!

#LousRelay follows on from the #RunForLou which was has been taking place over the past month and was been organised by Louise’s family and friends. With Saturday being the final day of the #RunForLou, the virtual baton is being passed to her colleagues at PL to continue the fundraising & awareness raising efforts.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support of our work in Louise’s memory – we have no doubt she would be incredibly proud of the immense efforts that have been undertaken by everyone who knew her.
