Infantile Spasms Awareness Week is organised by the Infantile Spasms Awareness Network (ISAN)- a worldwide group of organisations committed to raising awareness of Infantile Spasms.

Epilepsy Ireland are members of the ISAN, and during Infantile Spasms Awareness week, we will be using our channels to share more information on these rare but extremely serious types of seizure. Join with us during the week to help raise awareness amongst new and expectant parents so they know the signs and how they can STOP Infantile Spasms.  Every year during ISAW, we share stories of families whose children have been diagnosed with Infantile Spasms to help the wider public learn more and how to STOP Infantile Spasms. You can see some previous examples of the stories we have shared by visiting the 'Infantile Spasms' section of our website. If your child has been diagnosed with Infantile Spasms and you would be interested in sharing your story as part of the week, please contact our Advocacy & Communications Manager, Paddy McGeoghegan by emailing pmcgeoghegan@epilepsy.ie

To learn more about Infantile Spasms, visit the 'Infantile Spasms' section of our website and please join with us during the week to raise awareness of this rare condition.
