FutureNeuro Public & Patient Information Day

Our colleagues in FutureNeuro are hosting a family friendly Public and Patient Information Day which may be of interest to people with epilepsy and their families. 

FutureNeuro is the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Research Centre for Chronic and Rare Neurological Diseases and we have a strong working relationship with the team at FutureNeuro. 

This event will introduCe attendees to the work of FutureNeuro, as well as featuring information about the type of research the team at FutureNeuro is working on  - including rare epilepsies - and how people can get involved. The full agenda is outlined below:

  • 11:00am - 11:30am - An introduction to FutureNeuro 
  • 11:30am - 1:00pm - Meet FutureNeuro's researchers & clinicians, who are working on projects such as 
    - Gene Therapy & Neuro Technology 
    - Patient Registries and Clinical Trials 
    - New Therapeutic Approaches to MS
    - New Research on Parkinson's Disease 
    - New Research on Rare Epilepsies 
    - Using Electronic Patient Data to improve care
