Virtual Epilepsy Education Session - With RANP Sinéad Murphy

We are delighted to be offering a further Virtual Epilepsy Education Session for people with epilepsy across Ireland. At this session, we will have Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Beaumont Hospital, Sinéad Murphy and our Community Resource Officer, Mary Baker on hand to offer information and advice to those in attendance.

The Virtual Epilepsy Education Session is of particular interest to adults with a new diagnosis of Epilepsy or those who feel they would like to have their knowledge of the condition refreshed. The session will be brought to you as part of Epilepsy Ireland’s Slaintecare Project and aims to ensure that you have access to expert information on epilepsy and are fully informed about the steps needed to begin the self-management of your condition. The session will cover:

-Diagnosis

-Seizure Management 

-Medication

-Lifestyle issues including triggers

-Community Supports

-Questions and answers
