UCD Centre for Disability Studies launch International survey on impact of COVID-19 on those with Intellectual/Developmental disability

A new international survey has been launched by the UCD Centre for Disability Studies seeking to measure the impact of COVID-19 on individuals who have an intellectual and/or developmental disability.

The survey is seeking feedback from people who are over 18 years of age and who are:

(1) a family member of a person of any age who has intellectual and developmental disabilities, or
(2) a paid staff member supporting a person or persons of any age who has intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This survey may be of interest to caregivers of a person with epilepsy who has additional needs and you can find further information on the survey/study; and the survey itself; here. Alternative language options are also available here.

Should you require any advice or support regarding your family member's - or the person you are caring for - epilepsy, remember our Community Resource Officers remain available. You can find their details here while further information on COVID-19 and epilepsy is available here.
