We have taken two significant measures in response to the unprecedented situation with COVID19 in the interest of our service users, members, fantastic volunteers and our staff. Each of these are explained in more detail at each link, however, in short:
1) We have taken the decision to cancel all public/group events from today onwards. This is a measure that we do not take lightly but the safety of our service users is of the utmost importance to us. That being said, our Community Resource Officers will be available on phone, email and on a one-one basis if possible. Click here for further information:
2) We have also taken the decision to cancel all public fundraising events associated with Purple Day on March 26th. This is again is a decision we have not taken lightly as we will be impacted massively in not being able to hold public fundraising events through our fantastic volunteers. We will be seeking your support by asking friends & family to make donations online, buying Purple Wristbands and over the coming days, we will also launch a fundraiser on facebook. We know this could be a difficult time for everyone, but please give us any support you can. Read more here.
Finally, information on Coronavirus and epilepsy here. Should any further information become available in this regard, we will update our website and social media channels.
Stay safe everyone, follow the official guidelines and practices issued by the Department of Health & HSE and we will all make our way through this together.
