Our Patron Rick O'Shea interviewed by Humans of Dublin (HOD)

Epilepsy Ireland's patron Rick O'Shea was interviewed by Derek Carter, HODcast host about himself, his experience of Dublin and living with epilepsy.

In this interview, Rick talks about his working class childhood in Dublin, about how he commenced working in radio and how he has handled setbacks and failure along the way. He speaks about his experience of living with epilepsy and how it has helped form his unique outlook on life.

HODCast is a weekly podcast where the host, Derek Carter, talks to people from Dublin (or living in Dublin) about Dublin, about themselves and, ultimately about what it means to be human. You can listen to the podcast on the Humans of Dublin website. (Select Episode 13 Rick O'Shea)

The show has been launched to complement the hugely popular 'Humans of Dublin' Facebook page, where you can read about Rick's experience of epilepsy.

HOD was created by photographer Peter Varga, it's a collection of portraits and short quotes from strangers on the streets of Dublin
