New survey launched on pregnancy & epilepsy

Our colleagues in the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE) have launched a new survey focussing on pregnancy & epilepsy.

The survey is the first of its kind in Europe and through the responses received, the IBE are aiming to understand how well informed women with epilepsy are regarding the risks involved in pregnancy in epilepsy.

We would encourage Irish women with epilepsy of childbearing potential please consider taking the time to complete this survey. Each response will be vital in understanding the current situation and in identifying areas where information can be better communicated to women with epilepsy.  The survey will take approximately 8 minutes to complete and the deadline for responses is March 8th.

You can complete the survey by clicking HERE.

If you are considering having a child, we would encourage you to link in with your Epilepsy Nurse Specialist to ensure that you have all the relevant information- their details can be found HERE. Alternatively, please contact your local Community Resource Officer - their details are here - or you can visit the woman section of our website here.
