The 2017 American Epilepsy Society Annual Meeting which took place in Washington DC last week has found that Clobazam is effective for patients with refractory epilepsy who are aged under two years.

The drug is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration as therapy for Lennox-Gastaut syndrome for young patients in this age range . Researchers conducted a review at Boston Children's Hospital from October 2011 to December 2016 and identified 155 patients aged under 2 years who received clobazam.
