Neurology charities are calling for investment in neurology services ahead of this year's General Election.

Over 800,000 Irish people are living with neurological conditions like stroke, acquired brain injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, migraine and dementia as well as a multitude of rare and genetic conditions.

Ireland's neurological care services remain critically underdeveloped which means that thousands of people nationwide face a constant struggle to get the level and type of care they need.

To resolve the long-standing crisis in the sector, the Neurological Alliance of Ireland is calling on political parties to commit to addressing the needs of people living with neurological conditions through:
