Rose Week 2008

Rose Week took place in October when volunteers all over the country took the opportunity to sell Brainwave roses and rose pins and raise awareness of epilepsy. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed whether by collecting at their local shopping centre, selling roses at work or asking their local shop to take a box for the counter.

We are particularly grateful for the support of teachers and students from the schools in Dublin and Cork that took part in the appeal - St. Louis Rathmines; Colaiste Mhuire in Cobh; Christ The King Secondary School, Mount Mercy College, Colaiste an Spioraid Naoimh and Scoil Mhuire in Cork. Thanks also to the Waterford Support Group who took to the streets in the city and county to sell roses during the Week. We are also grateful for the continued support of all the shopping centres who allow us to fundraise on their property.
