Training For Success is run in partnership with the Sligo Institute of Technology. The Institute's record in providing courses, which meet the needs of the communities it serves is well established. They also take pride in the range and nature of courses they have initiated and are continuing to develop.

Brainwave is happy to be working with the Institute and acknowledge that many of the ongoing developments with Training For Success stem from this unique partnership.

Students on the Training For Success programme have full access to all the Institute's facilities and resources.

"Before I came on this course I had a brief knowledge of what epilepsy is, now because of the course I have learned a bit more about my own and others' epilepsy and how to deal effectively with seizures. Seeing people in seizures used to upset and frighten me. Through the epilepsy awareness module and first aid training I can now deal with seizures in a relaxed and calm fashion. I have decided to take a look into a career in nursing".
