Training For Success student demographics

The quote above is from one of the first participants of Training For Success, Epilepsy Ireland Pre-employment Training Programme for people with epilepsy run in partnership with the Institute of Technology, Sligo. The course is funded by FAS and is the only one of its kind in Europe

Training For Success was first established in 1998 as part of a HORIZON project. The aim was to address the needs of young adults with epilepsy in accessing meaningful employment.

Training For Success is is supported by the Irish Exchequer and is financed under the National Development Plan 2000-2006. Students receive a FAS Training Allowance equivalent to their social welfare payment plus a Training Bonus.
