The Prevalence of Epilepsy in Ireland Study, commissioned by Brainwave and conducted by the UCD Centre for Disability Studies is the first national epilepsy prevalence study undertaken anywhere in Europe. National Study on Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy
Initial results from population-based study of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy in the Republic of Ireland by Dr. Deirdre O'Rourke found 91 cases identified with a provisional diagnosis of probable or definite SUDEP. » read more
