A new version of the Epilepsy Ireland android app has been released in the Google Playstore.

This update (v3.1) now no longer needs internet connectivity to create a user account or to login to the app. All user details are now stored on your device only. This will resolve some connectivity issues experienced by some users.

It also means that Epilepsy Ireland will be unable to retrieve lost usernames/ passwords for new users created after December 10th 2015. Users will instead be supplied with their login details via the app after answering the security questions you set when registering for the first time.

For existing users who have downloaded earlier versions of the app up to and including v3.0, Epilepsy Ireland will continue to provide password retrieval as normal.

The update will be installed on your device either automatically or upon your confirmation, in accordance with your own settings.

The iOS iPhone release is scheduled for Jan/ early February 2016 and a host of new Android features will also be coming on stream in early 2016. These will include an upgraded calendar, a new reminder system, tracking of missed medications and an appointment planning tool.

Important Advice:

We encourage all app users to back up their device regularly to protect their data. If you are changing handsets, make sure you take all your app data with you to the new device . Click here for information on how to do this.
