Epilepsy Ireland is recruiting for the position of Chief Executive, based at our Head Office in Dublin

Epilepsy Ireland is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive with overall responsibility for the continued success of the organisation. Reporting to the Board, the appointee will be responsible for the commercial and operational leadership of the organisation and will lead in the planning, communicating and execution of the strategy consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organisation. S/he will lead and manage a high-performing management team and, through them, support and inspire staff members, volunteers and other stakeholders in the fulfillment of their responsibilities and will ensure that all activities comply with the organisation's ethos and regulatory codes. Candidates should be experienced and proven leaders, who will bring strong strategic and operational capabilities to the organisation. The appointee will have the capacity to give experienced direction and will have the necessary vision to build and develop the strategic initiatives required to meet the needs of all stakeholders.

In addition to possessing an affinity with the objectives of Epilepsy Ireland, the appointee will require well-honed commercial and organisational development skills, coupled with a track record of leadership and management. Additional competencies include strategic thinking, financial management and the ability to influence at the highest level. An exceptional communicator, the appointee will champion the needs of people with epilepsy.
