Video clips by people affected by neurological conditions
The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) - the umbrella group for over 30 neurological organisations such as Brainwave has launched a new initiative called "My Charity Matters", a video project for members of NAI organisations.
We want to let everyone know why organisations like Brainwave are important and how they make a difference in your life. If you are affected by epilepsy, then this is your chance to make a short video showing why Brainwave matters to you.
The videos will be a focal point of Brain Awareness Week 2012, which begins on March 5th and a selection of the videos will be shown as part of the NAI's annual conference in Dublin.
NAI organisations provide essential, innovative and cost-effective services to thousands of individuals with neurological conditions and their families. Each of these people has a different relationship with the non statutory organisation and avails of different services and supports. The aim of the video presentation is that people will be given an opportunity to describe in their own way the impact of their organisation on their life.
Videos can be shot on mobile phone, digital cameras, etc. They need not be professionally produced. There is a maximum time limit of 3 minutes.
Closing date: February 3rd 2012.
