What is epilepsy in the context of the driving regulations?
- The new regulations define epilepsy as two or more epileptic seizures less than five years apart.
What counts as a seizure in respect of the driving laws?
- All episodes of epileptic activity including auras and seizure warnings count as seizure activity. The new regulations give guidance on the assessment of loss of consciousness and other seizure indicators.
