Brainwave – The Irish Epilepsy Association – Shedding a light on epilepsy

Thanks to all the women who supported Brainwave in this years mini-marathon on a scorching June Bank Holiday Monday.

Almost 300 women represented Brainwave and we are extremely grateful for all the effort put in by everyone in fundraising and preparing for the day. We would also like to thank those who helped our fundraising in other ways, particularly Tullamore Credit Union whose donation enabled us to provide transport for our Offaly team on the day.

Below are a selection of photos from our post-race get-together in the Mont Clare Hotel where competitors enjoyed refreshments and a comfortable seat after a hard day in the sun.

The mini-marathon continues to be one of our most important fundraising events, particularly so in the challenging economic times we all currently face.
