Brainwave – The Irish Epilepsy Association – Shedding a light on epilepsy

A special thank you from Brainwave to the staff, children and parents involved with the Little Feet creche in Baltinglass Co Wicklow where Rose Week fundraising was taken to a new level this year. Over €1,000 was raised through Brainwave roses and rose pins and also through the holding of the Halloween Rose Ball at the creche.

Jacqui Kenny, owner of Little Feet came up with the idea to raise money for Brainwave and increase awareness of epilepsy.

Jacqui says "When I saw the article about Rose Week in Brainwave's newsletter, I immediately got behind the idea and started fundraising using our Halloween party as a rose themed party for the children. Everyone had great fun and raised loads of money. It was a very successful week overall".

Jacqui was very impressed with the quality of childrens information provided by Brainwave and we are very grateful to her for raising over €1,000 which will help us continue the work we are already doing in helping children and adults with epilepsy.
