Brainwave receives donation from Hospital Saturday Fund.
Brainwave was recently the beneficiary of a €1000 donation from the charity, The Hospital Saturday Fund.
In the photo below, Brainwave's Peter Murphy receives the donation from Mr John Murphy, HSF Health Plan, the trading company of the hospital Saturday fund (left).
The donation will be used to help fund Brainwaves education and information services. Our thanks to the Fund for recognising our work and choosing to support us.
In 2008, the Hospital Saturday Fund charity paid out over €380,000 in donations and grants to medical charities for care and research, hospices and hospitals across Ireland and the UK. Assistance was also given to individuals whose illness or disability has caused financial difficulties.
HSF health plan Ireland's leading health cash plan operator and is celebrating 60 years operating in Ireland this year. It provides over 100,000 Irish people with cash towards everyday medical costs, including routine GP, dental and optical visits, hospitals admissions, complementary medicine and personal injury.
