What do you know about your epilepsy?

Wednesday 18th May
Carmelite Community Centre
Aungier St, Dublin 2
7.00pm - 9.00pm
Admission is free. Light refreshments served.

A recent study undertaken by St. James's Hospital and Trinity College found that many people with epilepsy are not well informed about their condition. You can download a summary of the study below.

At this special information evening to mark National Epilepsy Week, Brainwave staff will take you through the 19 questions used in the study, providing accurate answers to all of the areas of misunderstanding identified by the researchers.

This free event is a must for anyone who would like to know more about epilepsy, its management and its consequences.

There will be plenty of time for you to ask any other questions that you may have yourself.

Present to answer your questions will be:

  • Paul Sharkey, Training & Communications Manager
  • Geraldine Dunne, National Information Ofiicer
  • Ina Murphy, Community Resource Officer
  • Sinead Murphy, Community Epilepsy Specialist Nurse

If you would like to attend, please let us know at 01 4557500 or info@epilepsy.ie. If you would like to submit a question in advance, please email the address above.
