The 5th Annual Barrack Hill Ball Roll in Cobh will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 1st at 4pm.

Up to ten thousand coloured balls will be released at the top of the hill in a unique event that was recenty described by Irish Independant columnist Pol O Conghaile as on of the 'Twenty Must See Events in Ireland this Summer'

Brainwave is delighted to once again have been nominated as one of the two beneficiary charities along with The Oncology Unit at South Infirmary Hospital, Cork.

Members of the public can buy a ball for €2. The person who owns the first ball to reach the bottom will be declared the winner and pick up a fantastic prize.

To find out how you can support this event, get in touch with Brainwve's office in Cork at 021 4274774. See also www.barrackhillballroll.com. Tickets can be purchased in local retail outlets and will be on sale on the day in the town centre.

The day will also feature the second annual 'Big Ball Uphill Challenge', while Cobh Tourism have organised a number of family events including on the day.

Check out our page from last year's event (which raised €11,000 for the two charities) along with some great photos here.
