Epilepsy Ireland has been working in partnership with the UK-based Epilepsy Bereaved organisation in helping families that have experienced death through SUDEP.

A number of Living With Loss seminars have been held throughout the country.

To further support those who have lost loved ones through SUDEP, Epilepsy Ireland has recently forged a new relationship with Anam Cara, a parental and sibling bereavement support group, which we hope will help meet the support/bereavement needs of the families affected.

A new leaflet on SUDEP will be launched in 2009.
