The Irish Epilepsy Nurses Group (IENG) was established in 1998. It is a specialized group whose membership consists of nurses and other allied health professionals working to support people with epilepsy, to include those working in general medicine, paediatrics and those with a learning disability.

It is our aim to:

• Promote the group and achieve a higher number of interested nurses
• Educate members regarding resources in epilepsy care
• Keep up to date with relevant current research and evidence based practices
• Organise and support ongoing meetings and conference
• Provide exceptional quality of care to those affected by the condition
• Enable our patients to reach the goal of self-management
